Where this is headed.

No hype here either. This is what's built and almost live, what's actively being built next, and what comes after we've earned it at Sunday River.

Now — almost liveYou are here

The bot works. We're finishing the rollout.

  • Text-in bot for Sunday River is built and tested: real NWS weather plus measured snow conditions, not a forecast dressed up as news.
  • Moving onto iMessage (with RCS/SMS fallback), so it feels like texting a friend, not a shortcode.
  • Getting the number in front of real skiers is the last step between "built" and "live."
Next — in progress

Seeing the mountain, not just measuring it

  • Computer vision on public lift-cam footage to estimate queue depth in real time, in active testing now.
  • Talking with Sunday River about what's actually useful to their operations team, alongside building, not gated behind it.
  • Proactive "conditions look great, go" texts before the good days land, so you don't have to ask.
  • Turning on the paid tier ($5–10/mo) once people are telling us they'd pay for it, not before.
Later — after Sunday River

More mountains, and the other side of the data

  • Expanding across the Boyne Northeast cluster (Sugarloaf, Pleasant Mountain, Loon), same pipeline, more mountains.
  • A resort-side view of the same honest data: crowd flow, lift lines, and demand, for staffing and terrain calls.
  • A real per-trail freshness score, tracked fresh corduroy vs. tracked-out vs. icy (likely needs cameras of our own to get right).

Updated as we go. This mirrors our internal plan, minus the parts that are just internal logistics.
